Great hosts. Very friendly. Couldnt fault their service. Only thing to comment on is windows could have better sound insulation as traffic noise was quite loud at times in the front rooms. In the process of renovation so no doubt it will improve. Thanks for the stay

We were a bit concerned when we saw the outside of the hotel as it could do with a luck of paint but had a very warm welcome and were offered a choice of 2 rooms. The bed was a bit smaller than we like but was what was advertised. Great facilities in the room, including a small fridge. Nice modern bathroom just a bit of a rattly sliding door. The decor is a bit ‘old school’ throughout but there are nice touches like toys in the lounge for kids. Breakfast was delicious and the service excellent. All in all, a well placed and convenient, if slightly tired place to stay!

Unfortunately we only stayed for a single night so cant say much but... The room was lovely and clean, with all the usual amenities. The owner was friendly and professional, asked about breakfast but as we were leaving sharp in the morning he offered a breakfast to go to be ready for 6am. Great places to eat and drink, simpky just around the corner.

We stayed with our daughter in a family room which was ideally sized for our 3 nights away, had enough storage and benefitted from a lovely sea view.Our room was clean, social distancing measures were good and hand sanitizer was on each floor. The only possible improvement I would have liked would have been liquid soap in the bathroom rather than a bar of soap but I kept forgetting to ask! Staff were very friendly and helpful and it was a bonus having free parking which was available each time we returned to the property. Complimentary bottles of water a nice touch too.In walking distance to Paignton & Goodrington so great location.Property was in need of a little maintenance here & there (ie ceiling in breakfast room) but overall a great stay for 3* accommodation and would stay again.
