Coming from a guest who stayed at their hostel (individual capsule room). 1. Poor cleanliness - Room: There's dirt in the nooks & crevices next to my bed & mirror cabinet (refer photo). - Toilet/shower room: Crusty crevices & floor. Has urine odor along the alley towards the toilet area & also in shower rooms. Door lock is rusty & brittle (refer photo). Towel holders & faucets are also crusty (made me question whether I cleaned myself thoroughly or not because it is dirty EVERYWHERE) - Also found unflushed urine in one of the toilets 2. Poor security & surveillance - No security camera along the alley until toilet (refer photo - alley is Z-shaped). Anything could happen before/after I shower or use the toilet & nothing can be traced to backup guests as evidence. - I lost my slippers that I left in front of my room (alley - refer photo). Front desk only informed me that probably housekeeping or someone else around might took it & they can't do much in helping me trace back cause no camera around. 3. Poor maintenance - Water dispenser: They used the plastic bottle type (refer photo) & did not refill water for guests. I wanted to refill my bottle around midnight & came the next day around 11.00am, bottle is still not refilled. - Abandoned cafeteria: Became a storage area covered with cloth & illegal smoking area for guests. But this is also the same area with water dispenser, clothing iron & hot water. 4. Poor communication between staffs. - Informed the night shift staff regarding my lost slippers. - Followed up the next day & apparently the day shift staff had no idea about my case. - Saw a whole team in their office area next to the lobby but still providing poor hospitality. 5. Poor sound-proofing - I can hear every single step along the alley - I can hear every phone audio from people chilling & talking at the abandoned cafeteria - I can hear & feel phone alarm vibrations from the capsule next to me from my bed

I had a very good experience staying at this hostel some time ago. The bedsheets were fresh and smelled clean, and the toilets were always in good condition and well maintained. However, during my recent stay, the condition has unfortunately declined. The bedsheets are no longer as clean or fresh as before, and there is an unpleasant smell. The toilets are often in poor condition and do not seem to be properly repaired or maintained. I also noticed black dirt around the sink and inside the toilet bowl. I hope the management can improve the cleanliness and maintenance to bring the hostel back to its previous standard.
