BelleVue Oasis-Palm Springs - Adults Only

Very clean facility. Staff were super helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our visit

Wall to wall white tile reminds one of a Third World property Who they bribed to receive an “8.6 Excellent” will remain a mystery to us. 1. Had to search for the property phone number when we arrived and call to find out how we are even supposed to enter the property. “You should have received and email with check-in instructions” was the response from the person on the phone. Well, we didn’t, so he “sent it again”. Somehow it miraculously arrived this time. 2. Somewhat arduous “easy online” check in. Had to call back 3 times. Entire process took 30-40 minutes, just to enter the property. Not something one wants to deal with after driving for 2.5 hours in the heat. 3. We entered the room to be punched in the face with the smell of cleaning agent reminiscent of the junk a bathroom janitor uses. 4. Look at the photos of the sofa, gag reflex anyone? The orange chair next to it was just as bad. We were reluctant to set our bags down, let alone sit on the furniture. 5. Ceiling fan light did not function. 6. Staff (or acquaintance thereof) was smoking inside the property. 7. The bed was comfortable, and had a good night of sleep. Excited to use the provided Keurig for our morning cup of coffee, only to be disappointed in the only options were black tea and decaf. Called after 9am (“Friendly staff is happy to help after 9am.”) to request caffeinated coffee (no answer, left a message). Returned from my walk to find three more pods of black tea had been delivered. What do they have against regular coffee? We gave the property 3 stars for Value for money since it was a pretty cheap rate, so the stay wasn’t horrendous, but it was certainly NOT “8.6 Excellent”.

I highly recommend!

Quaint little bungalow. Very clean. Quiet. Enjoyed our getaway. Slight plumbing issues that didn’t resolve after plunging
