Hotel Vila Misiri

Nice clean hotel in good location to beach and local bus to City centre Good breakfast but the hot food selection is not kept warm so is normally cold. Nice renovated rooms but the room i had didn’t have a refurbished bathroom. This was still a wet room style which isn’t the best. But don’t let that put you off . On Agoda it stated there was private beach but this is false information.

The property is located at least 35 kilometers from Tirana and from the airport. The drive took over an hour and a half on muddy, flooded and uneven roads filled with holes. Contrary to the advertising on Agoda/Bookings.com, the hotel is NOT on the beach!! you need to walk a street over to reach it. Parking was not provided, I had to leave my car 300 meters away on the street. The check-in staff did not speak English and attempted to overcharge me €48, despite my confirmed Agoda payment, initially they pretended they did not receive agoda payment and asked me to pay them again in cash. They later admitted the mistake, but had I not noticed, I would have been charged twice and the second time at a higher amount. Staffs were consistently rude and communication was nearly impossible. Overall, this stay was a frustrating experience marked by false advertising, exhausting driving for hours on poor road condition, poor service, and lack of basic amenities. Avoid this hotel if you don’t want your holiday ruined.
