Stayed at Glen House Resort for a weekend getaway and had a great experience overall. Although check-in was officially at 4 PM, the staff kindly gave us our room keys around 2:15 PM which was really appreciated after a long drive. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean with an amazing river view. The building and AC system are a bit older, so it took us some time to figure things out, but that’s understandable considering the property’s age. Overall, the views and peaceful atmosphere made the stay worth it.

The room was lovely and comfortable. The dinner was excellent.
Two concerns: 1. We could not get the written commentary off the TV, nor could the staff member who came in to help us. 2. The breakfast was not as good as I would have hoped for and expected.

This resort exceeded our expectations. The property was constantly being groomed while we were there. Gorgeous gardens and lawns. The food was so good. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Beds were so comfy and fresh and the room was stocked with all sorts of towels and personal care products. There are pickleball courts with rackets supplied. And they have an 18 hole Championship Golf Course there as well. The hotel is right on the St.Lawrence River and it’s fun watching the boats go by. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, games room and fitness room too. It’s an older resort with older furniture and decor but it is so well maintained and had so much charm. We will definitely return again.
