    I stayed just one night at Villa Royal but the facilities were very nice and the breakfast superior to what you usually expect in Italy. The room was quite basic and in what looked like an annex, but that was not a problem. It was clean and the expected (small) size in Florence and generally in Italy.

    Its quite a walk from Florence Train Station but the stay and the view i got is absolutely amazing. The staff are very friendly and kind and my stay here was very fruitful! Will come again soon!

    The hotel is well situated with a 15-20 min walk to most of the main sights and the main train station. Felt safe as a solo traveler. The room was clean and the bathroom seemed like it was renovated recently. Reception staff was very helpful. Overall, a decent stay in Florence!
