The private room was very clean and just big enough to stretch out. The air conditioning was very strong. Nikki, the receptionist on duty during our stay, was a wonderful help to us and devoted some of her own time helping us plan our time in Jaco. The pool is lovely, and the hostel owners make a wonderful Gallo Pinto for breakfast every morning.

The staff, the freshly made breakfast, the relaxed and welcoming environment, everything about my stay here was phenomenal! It’s a great representation of the Pura Vida lifestyle. Would visit again for sure.

All the staff was very friendly and spoke both Spanish and English, which was nice. It was funny that they had to close a refrigerator with bungee cords because the raccoon got in at night so I actually waited up in the middle of the night to see if any came around, but unfortunately, I waited up all night long and no raccoons
The pool was clean and very nice for a dunking pool, but very tiny for any kind of laps that it was perfect for the size of the property
They were very protective of people that came on the property and Nikki and Francisco, we’re very conscientious, and on time every day with their duties and especially the proprietor woman owner, whom I will not disclose for privacy concerns was especially sweet!
