    There was no soundproofing whatsoever, and despite a grave lie to me from a receptionist and two nights disturbed by noise from neighboring rooms, the general manager told me that management wouldn't offer me a refund. This is completely unacceptable and frankly shameful.

    Location is very far from the city centre, you need a car to access the city easily. Our room has been renovated but overall building/elevator and hallway was very dated. Hallway smells like cigarettes, old and musty, good thing our room was ok. No bedbugs found. A/C unit was very loud but works well during the heat wave. Room was on 3 floor but could not hear the outside traffic (Metropolitan Highway) because the noise from the A/C. Water pressure was low but available all the time. Staff stares at us every time we walk by, very uncomfortable and creepy. Parking is free but it’s across the street under the elevated highway, not secured. We paid $*** for 6 nights. Not really good value but I guess that’s what it goes for Montreal now a days.
