2nd stay at the Lantana and it didn’t disappoint! The hotel is well situated and convenient for most of the attractions Weymouth has to offer. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have everything you need. John and Sandra are amazing hosts who can’t do enough to ensure you have an enjoyable restful stay. We will be back!!!

The welcome we received was more than we could have expected, we were shown our room and then given a complimentary wine and beer on the terrace. The hosts were so attentive and informative during our stay and super friendly. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and was decorated and furnished to a high standard. The breakfast was amazing and we had a great view from our room. The location was brilliant. We couldn’t have asked for more for our two night stay in Weymouth.

The hosts of the property went above and beyond It's immaculately maintained in an ideal location We had a beautiful view overlooking the bay and even sitting at the back of the property on the decking we could watch the goings on in the harbour It is definitely value for money and a b&b well worth going back for another stay or two

We had an amazing time. John and Sandra are such welcoming hosts! The Lantana is spotless, in a fabulous location and they have paid such great attention to detail. Breakfast was superb! All in all, we couldn’t fault it! We’ll definitely be back in the summer to enjoy the beautiful sun terrace!

From our first contact with the owners, to the location, the quality of the B&B, breakfast, accommodation, everything was outstanding. The B&B is in a great location, close to the beach, the quayside, the shops, pavilion, everything is within easy reach to walk to. The owners Sandra and John were fantastic hosts. They went out of their way to ensure we had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay, offering us drinks on arrival, organising a permit for parking, recommending places to eat and drink and offering us flexibility for check in and breakfast. The B&B is decorated and furnished to a really high standard with small luxury touches in the room, i.e. lovely toiletries, high quality tea/coffee facilities, a fridge with complimentary water, a hair dryer, towels and beautiful bedding. Breakfast was really lovely with lots of choice including fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereal, toast, pain au chocolat, as well as a traditional full english! There is also a lovely terrace for guests to use which overlooks the quayside, a beautiful calm place to sit and eat breakfast or have a drink in the afternoon and watch the world go by! We would definitely recommend this B&B.

Hi, Just had a couple of days at The Lantana and thoroughly recommend it! The property itself is clean, well maintained, with modern decor and really convenient for the beach and harbour. Very attentive and friendly hosts, who made us feel welcome straight away and genuinely went the extra mile to make sure that we were happy and had everything that we need. Absolutely great full English breakfast!

Sandra and John are excellent hosts.Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent room overlooking the harbour.Sandra is a great cook with breakfasts ranged from a full English cooked to your own preferences to a bowl of fruit freshly made. Loved eating breakfast on the sun deck watching all the events going on in the harbour. So impressed we have already booked for next year.

Breakfast each morning was a delight, with a fantastic full English breakfast and other options available to suit everyone. What truly sets Lantana Bed and Breakfast apart is the dedication of the hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and were always available to offer recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. Thanks to their insightful suggestions, we enjoyed some fantastic meals and explored the hidden gems of the area. If I could rate Lantana Bed and Breakfast higher than 5 stars, I absolutely would. It was a perfect experience, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or a base to explore the region, this is the place to stay. We were greeted with a friendly welcome. The hosts, John and Sandra were both there to introduce themselves and offer a lovely glass of cold beer and wine. Check in was easy and informal. Although not seeing the other rooms within the property, we were delighted with our room (room 5) and felt this was the best they had. It offered views across the beach and bay just yards from the front door. The room was spacious clean and offered a spectacular view. It was nicely decorated and had a small fridge for use. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order, and served on the sun terrace. Blessed with good weather, it was good to be able to sit and watch the world go by. I had a days fishing booked for the first day and was offered a packed breakfast. This was delivered to our room whilst out for an afternoon walk around the area, thank you, Sandra. We felt completely rested and very welcomed and at home. Would we return, yes, there was nothing to dislike or put you off this lovely property.

Room was ready on arrival along with complimentary drink and bags taken up. Sat on the sun terrace out the back overlooking the harbour and so peaceful. Rooms lovely clean and comfortable. John and Sandra so friendly and nothing too much trouble. Knowledgable about the local area, bars and restaurants. Breakfast was great and a good menu choice. Will definitely be returning.

Wonderful place to stay. The hosts are just perfect. Attentive and friendly whilst remaining completely professional. They made our stay so special. Our room was superb with glorious views of the harbour. It is clear from the attention to detail in the rooms that John and Sandra really care about their guests. We ate breakfast (which were fantastic) on the lovely terrace one morning (when the weather was good). We will definitely be back.

Both my husband and I take infrequent dash breaks from our busy Company and love Weymouth. By pure lucky chance we came across the 'Lantana' run by very friendly couple John and Sandra who made us feel very welcome. The rooms are super clean and have everything needed for the visit. Breakfast was superb, every day a selection of fresh chopped fruit and perfectly cooked full English breakfast with the best sausages I've tasted for a while. The location of the the Lantana is so convenient with delightful decking to the rear overlooking the quayside and all the bobbing yachts, and from the other side we could see the sea from our bedroom window. We cannot sing the Lantana's praises more. There is so much to do nearby and plenty of restaurants so perfect for us. Big thanks to Sandra and John for making our stay that much more enjoyable.

The proximity to the beach, the town centre, the pavilion, pubs and restaurants……all within walking distance. The Lantana have parking permits for display on the dashboard ….such a plus in a busy town where parking is at a premium.

Our stay at the Lantana was amazing. John met us at our car, took our suit cases to the room and invited us to a glass of wine; hospitality at its best. The room was absolutely gorgeous, bright and airy, with a wonderful view of the harbour. The bed was very comfortable and large. Loads of cupboard space. Breakfast on the terrace (also overlooking the harbour) was of excellent quality and quantity, all cooked to perfection by Sandra. The Lantana is ideally situated for bars, restaurants and lovely walks. John and Sandra have got everything spot on when it comes to guests comfort. I say guests, we were treated more like friends. Would definitely go again and highly recommend to others, marks out of 10, 10. A lovely couple. All the best to you both, Marilyn & Keith

Great stay at this property and the host were brilliant. Very nice room and facilities were excellent. Harbour at rear if property and beach at front. Search for parking (The Pavillion is close) but you can park for for free in zone F with a pass from the hotel. Would stay again and breakfast is very nice ( especially on the terrace 😁).

John & Sandra made us feel at home from the minute we arrived and made it feel like we were stopping with friends. Our room overlooked the harbor was spotless the spacious, the breakfast was outstanding, with lots of choice, thick smoked bacon, and local butchers sausages take it to the next level help yourself to tea /coffee sets you up for the day parking outside the hotel may be a problem in high season but a large public car park is only a couple of minutes away

The Lantana is a perfect place to stay in Weymouth. Sandra and John are very friendly hosts and nothing was too much trouble, the breakfasts were cooked perfectly and big portions. Our room was spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable and the Lantana is situated with some of the best views of Weymouth beach and the harbour that your going to get in the whole area. Guys.. seriously, this is the place to stay if you’re heading to Weymouth for a break, we loved our stay and will definitely be returning. Eddie and Lilybeth.

From the moment we booked communication was good. Had a free upgrade to a lovely large room with sea view. Beautifully decorated. Large comfy bed. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. Served at 9.00 so no early starts. Both John and Sandra were great hosts, giving us advice on restaurants and the area. Supplying us with plates and wine glasses for lunch on the balcony overlooking the harbour. Check out was 11.00 so no rush to get packed up. One of our best trips. We have already booked to return. Stayed for 5 nights in room 1. Hotel good central position. Great room for view of harbour. Breakfasts were excellent. All lovely and clean. Only fault, wasn’t told there would be no housekeeping but problem soon resolved. Would go back.
