8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
Location- from Oslo central station (jernbanetorget station) take tram 15 directions towards majorstuen and alight at national theatre station, is much easier n nearer than taking the metro. Than cross over to inter continental hotel direction, from there use your google map, is a 5-8 minute easy walk. Quiet neighbourhood but near to waterfront, city hall, some nice restaurants. Do not try to walk from main station to the hotel, although is about 30 minutes, but with luggage is not going to be easy.
Room- got a standard twin room, come with 2 single bed, a small dresser, the photo show bigger than the actual room. Cleanliness, no complaints. Shower pressure good. Room door, we took a while to figure out, tap to open and tap to lock after closing. Self check in is super easy. No reception or we thought, but there are staff sitting at the lounge area that you can ask, we realised that only during check out when the gentleman kindly asked if we want luggage storage after checking out 😂 stayed only 3 nights so did not ask for housekeeping. Bring your own amenities. Overall no complaints for the price I paid. Will I stay again, most likely, will I recommend, yes if you do not expect much. Location is good, clean and quiet.
