taxi was 100 TL from IST ( March 2019 )
taxi to Grand Bazaar 20 TL, taxi back at peak hour is bit more as long as heading right direction otherwise triple cost
very close to Istikial street and Taksim Square....slightly seedy late at night but that could be my imagination....close to lots of local food fare and beer bar places. keep your wallets safe when you are out in crowded tourist zones IMHO
lovely lovely hotel staff ...both at reception desk and breakfast lady etc, clean room but very weak hot water pressure

I was on the 5th floor with lovely balcony....compact lift only goes to 4th..you have to cart luggage up a flight of stairs....
brekky served 830-10ish....cereals/oats etc plus cold cuts plus 3 cooked items incl hard boiled eggs...basic coffee/tea..no complaints considering the bucks
party sounds can be heard till late
HOJO basic comfort but tiny, clean, comfy for bucks and friendly

The location of the hotel was not good at all. There are several loud bars nearby that play loud music until midnight and do not allow one to sleep well.
