Benal Beach

Everything was perfect. The host was very friendly. The location was amazing with beautiful sea view. The studio was very clean. I would definitely stay there again.

The location was exceptional - just a 5 min walk to the beach. Free street parking was next to the hotel. There was a balcony to expirience breakfast with the sea view!

Quite outdated but didn’t bother us.

The view from the room is about the best thing here. Hot water and shower pressure good. My dislikes could make much more reading but space didn't permit!

Benal Beach as a whole complex is in need of some TLC, just look up from the outside and you will see lots of flaking paint and dislodged masonary. The following is how we found the apartment ourselves: 1. No instructions were given that on arrival at reception, (after queuing for some time) I would then have to ring the owner to get clearance that I could pick up the key. The owner didn't answer my call so I text, to which he responded and said the keys were now ready at reception. Back in the queue waiting again only to find that no keys had been left at reception. I then had to do a video call with the owner and walk up flights of stairs to a random room number, use a key code to get out the key for our own room. After making our way to the room, there was already a key in the door! 2. There is absolutely no WIFI in the apartment, access was constantly denied. Contacted the owner who said it was a technical issue and that someone would come, but probably not today!! Not much good to us considering we were only staying the night! I had to chase the owner for a response regarding WIFI as he didn't get back to me. 3. Although toiletries are not advertised, there aren't any, except empty bottles from previous use. 4. What is advertised is a toaster, there isn't one. 5. The TV wouldn't switch on at all. The reason? Only one battery in the remote control. Not our place to go and buy batteries, these things should be checked before our arrival as they are advertised for use. 6. Advertised for 4 persons. No way suitable for this amount. There is only one breakfast bar stool for seating inside, not enough plates. glasses etc to provide for 4 persons. 7. The wardrobe only had 3 hangers and was crammed full of a travel cot, high chair, bedding, pillows etc. No room to hang anything, along with the fact there are no chest of drawers either and no bedside cabinets. 8. Checkout is 1000hrs not 1030hrs as advertised on Booking.Com 9.

Beautifully kept apartment with nice swimming pools , reception and bar.

The lift wouldn't take us to reception, apparently a common fault so we had to exit the door in the rubbish room into the pool area. Was faced with a rather grumpy attendant demanding to know how we got in when pool was closed. We're not 5!

Would recommend Benal beach 100% one of the best places I have been quality for money. Everything was perfect. Lovely host and accommodating. We normally travel to hotels and not apartments and I was very pleasantly surprised. We will be back.
