Hi, this property is not what I thought of from the pictures. It is much older. The staff are very friendly and kind. The room as I first enter it has a musty odor to it. The air con works well, the coach and tv are good. I don't like thr bathroom because their are no blinds for privacy. Can't take a shower. The kitchen is ok. The major concerns is that their are open spaces for bugs to come into the room by the air con access gate. Fix the odor problem, seal the room from bugs, get blinds for the bathroom. If you know your way around the city and is in Phnom Penh for a weeklong business, this is an excellent place to stay. It has some 2 BR apartments and full kitchens and washing machines in a quiet neighborhood but 15 min walk from expats (ie:foreigners who actually live and work in Cambodia) restaurants and bars. It may not be appropriate for first timers in PP though and not close to the touristy scene but you can always hail a TuK Tuk as PP is not that large. The price is very reasonable, it is clean with both fans and aircon, hot water abundant and water pressure is good. There a convenience store next door and a late bar 50m away. The staff is eager to help. Of course the place has some 90ish flavor to it, but it makes you feel like an old PP hand.
