Great place to experience Puerto Rican culture!

We stayed for 4 nights in the 1 bedroom unit and loved this local family-run space. The family is very communicative via text - you will get their phone number when you complete a booking, so don’t message them on expedia. They let us check in a little earlier once they were done cleaning. The space was clean, and they had beach towels, chairs, and a cooler that we found super useful for the beach, which is a super close walk. The apartment is located near calle loiza, which has many good restaurants and cafes. The family lives nearby and is very friendly. The mom also drove us to the airport for free. I didn’t give 5 stars because some of the windows don’t shut all the way, so you may get some mosquitoes in the common area. We kept the bedroom door closed all the days so that helped but we forgot one night and got bites, which is common anywhere on the island. We also did not bring any bug spray, which could have helped.

Great Location. Very clean. Great communication worth it for what you pay.

Fantastic location nestled in between Ocean Park and Condado, close to airport and beach area, easy bus/Lyft access to Viejo San Juan. Sean and Cristina are excellent hosts that took great care of me and my mom during our stay. The apartment was cozy and comfortable. There was some street/party noise late Friday and Saturday as the building is close to a party area, but it tended to die down quickly. We were staying there the last weekend of Spring Break so some noise was to be expected! A great option for budget/student travelers, well equipped with beach going supplies of coolers and a beach chair even!
