Orchid Classic Cruise

I had a wonderful experience on Orchid Classic Cruise. The service was excellent, the food exceeded my expectations, and the room was spacious and comfortable. One pleasant surprise was that the cruise included a shore excursion, which I wasn’t expecting and really enjoyed. The only downside is that the ship is showing its age. While it is well maintained, it doesn’t have the feel of a brand-new luxury cruise. That said, the outstanding service and overall experience more than made up for it. I would happily recommend Orchid Classic Cruise.

Booked a 2 days/1 night cruise with Orchid Classic. Above all a big shout out to the staff. They do go a long way to give you the best experience. In particular, Hoa was looking after us and she has delivered a fantastic service. The boat is a little tired but very comfy and has all the required amenities including a jacuzzi and some kayaks. Ha Long bay has disappointed as the water is quite dirty. There are far too many boats, not providing any privacy on the boat. The activities included on the cruise are fairly basic, 1-hr kayaking was not special, 10-mins swimming in some fairly dirty water and 1-hr trek on cat ba island visiting some caves. The food was pretty good and plentiful. Overall, a good experience.

Daily Adventures & Zen Moments The itinerary strikes a perfect balance between activity and relaxation: • Kayaking: It’s incredibly peaceful when you’re away from the main boat. • Squid Fishing: A fun, low-pressure way to spend the evening under the stars. • Tai Chi at Sunrise: There is no better way to wake up. Practicing slow, deliberate movements on the sundeck as the mist rises off the water was a highlight of the trip. The Vibe What sets Orchid apart is how serene and peaceful the entire experience feels. Because Lan Ha Bay is less crowded than its neighbour, Ha Long Bay, you truly feel immersed in nature.
