Casa Rosanna, in the small northern Italian town of Meolo, is a gem. It's a separate business (but apparently the same owners) of the restaurant downstairs. It's not a hotel, not a motel, but more like a bed-and-no-breakfast. So there is no lobby, no room service, no gym, no conference room. Once you get your key and your instructions of how things work, you're on your own! There is no sign for "Casa Rosanna"; instead, look for "Trattoria Roma" - that's where Casa Rosanna is. The rooms are absolutely spotless, beautifully and elegantly decorated, with a sophisticated security system; quit; electronic shutters if you don't want the bright sunlight coming thru the window; and sheer and thick curtains, if you want to block everything. The bathroom is ultra-modern, with a shower that delivers water from either a large rain-type sprinkler or a hand-shower. Casa Rosanna does not supply bar-soap or shampoo or hair conditioner, so be sure to bring your own (there is a liquid-soap dispenser at the bathroom sink). There is Wi-Fi, which works well; a room-by-room air conditioner with a remote control for on/off, temperature, and fan speed; a television screen (which I never used, but I assume it will work); and a small refrigerator. There is a desk with a chair. I walked from the Meolo train station to Casa Rosanna, which you can do if you don't have a lot of luggage. There is a laundromat that you can easily walk to from Casa Rosanna. I was very comfortable there!

This little place is a hidden gem. It's great for a romantic getaway as it is right between Venice and two great beaches (Carole & Jesolo). And near a great outlet mall. The best way to enjoy this place is to rent a car although it is close to a train station. This Place is new and very clean the pictures don't do it any justice. Say Cioa to Barbara & Christiano they run the place along with a very nice restaurant. They were very helpful and nice.
