This property was a working farm and we stayed 4 nights in a house over 100 years old. We had a large room on the 2nd floor and shared a bathroom with the other guests. We were welcomed by the owner and shown around the house where we could use the living room, kitchen and dining room. It was comfortable and welcoming. The folks working the farm were friendly and it was a delight to see the ducks, cows, goats, chickens and working dogs! A local chef came in the mornings to cook breakfast (duck eggs!) - delicious. It was lovely talking to the Kathy, the owner, and Eric, the chef, about the farm and area. If we hadn't been on a defined schedule of sightseeing it would have been a calm to rest in the yard and listen to the sounds of the farm.

I had a lovely overnight stay. The owner and farm volunteers made me feel right at home. This experience was memorable. If you've ever wondered what life on a farm might be like, this amazing property will enlighten you. Make sure to visit their farm store, the cheese and other products are delicious!
