It's a beautiful hotel in a great location for walking everywhere in the Gothic Quarter. The front desk staff are very nice and helpful. The rooms are very spacious, quiet and comfortable. The terrace on top is very nice and quite comfortable in the evenings. The breakfast set up is excellent. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to get an iron for guests and make sure that the TV's work properly. Our remote did't work right and was not fixed or replaced. Also, the wait staff helping for breakfast need to be a bit more cheerful to the guests.

Property is uniquely situated in a narrow alley within the Roman wall. What sets the Mercer apart is the exceptional staff who are eager to meet your every need. The furnishings and decor are upscale and very modern. Some of the lounge furniture is too low for older couples, and the flexibility of the shower floor posed some difficulties for me with my mobility issues, but the other amenities more than compensate for any minor irritations. Lovely place to stay. Happy to highly recommend
