    We picked th De Charme Hotel because of its close proximity to the airport, mountains, and many central city activities. We were no disappointed in our choice. We took one morning stroll to walk around the city wall/moat - 6.5 km and found many fun surprises. We found a fun "workout park" with walking path, childrens play area, exercise stations, play courts, weight area, and even a massage station, all set in a beautiful park setting. Weekend markets just down the street. Wats, or Buddist temples down every street. One of the locals favorite food pickup places just next door. We knew it was popular because it closed at 8 pm and "Grab" delivery vehicles never stopped picking up food all evening. Many inexpensive (less than 100 bth) dishes in easy walking distance. Pool is great, just not open after 8 pm. Quit setting and very clean. Showers could be better configured, but not bad. Rooms very clean and roomy. Beds a little hard, but better then to soft. Overall it was great.

    Nice big room and comfy bed. You can explore all the old city temples and night market on foot. Recommend.

    A very unfriendly hotel which surprised me based on my experience in Chiang Mai and Thailand previously. After having flight changed I contacted agoda to tell the hotel. Arrived to find that they had sold my room and wanted to downgrade me. Manager kept coming up with excuses to why I didn’t and shouldn’t get the room I booked. Considering I contacted the hotel and Agoda explaining the situation - was shocking based on this. Argued with them until they relented and surprised me with the room being there still. Every time I came in the staff were rude and unfriendly. Room was adequate but very dark. Very basic facilities. Breakfast was subpar based on the cost of the room. Adequate but the front desk staff really put me off ever recommending this hotel.
