🌟 A Beautiful Return to a Thoughtful Stay
I first stayed at Jian Hotel in 2018 and was drawn to its artistic atmosphere and peaceful design — it truly felt like a hidden gem in Taipei. Coming back this year felt like revisiting a meaningful place.
I arrived very late — around 3 AM — and initially had some difficulty checking in. It turned out the hotel had actually sent me the door code in advance, but I couldn’t access my email at the time. Despite the confusion, the staff were incredibly understanding the next day. They not only offered a partial refund but also gave me a kind little gift, which really touched me.
Their thoughtful response reminded me why I chose to return. The hotel is just as beautiful and calming as I remember — full of artistic charm, clean lines, and a sense of serenity.
I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. Jian Hotel is more than a place to sleep — it’s an experience.

Nice, quaint little place, great location near local eateries, a convenience store, a laundromat. 6-8 minute walk from an MRT station. Love the theme and decor. No elevator, though the receptionist carried my luggage up for me. My only concern was that the power went out twice on the second day of my stay -- once in the morning and once in the afternoon. It was just for a few minutes and an emergency light came on, but it was still an inconvenience.

Jianshan is a great choice for a Taipei hotel. Fast check in, amazing friendly staff, nice facilities, cool look and also virtually sound proof to the busy streets around. They kindly stored our bike boxes so we could cycle tour around Taiwan. We are naturally staying there when we return to Taipei.
