The place is old, but clean. Location is great, right next to the Grande canal. The room was big. The only problem is that there is no air-conditioting, only fans! So it was very hot all the time, I was sweating like a pig even when trying to sleep.

Well served area, a lot of landmarks and restaurants at walking distance. Place is spartan but clean. Check in info was sent into spam folder unlike the confirmation mail, and the contact number was on answering machine. Troubled sleep as other ppl came in slamming doors and screaming at midnight and 3.30am, no one to pay the 2.60€ fee so I left it with the keys at self check out.

After a mix-up with travel dates (due to booking process, not the property), I was still accommodated at last minute and cannot thank the owner enough for her hospitality. The property was spacious, had a relaxed atmosphere and comfortable. Would highly recommend and would stay again next time I'm in Trieste.

The property was within walking distance to most attractions and train station, restaurants near by and the room was clean, however no WiFi was available during the 2 nights I stayed and no other methods of getting internet was offered

Very clean and spacious room in the center of Trieste. Near all amenities from shopping to beautiful places to visit. Restaurant and café are nearby as well to enjoy a nice evening or start the day with a breakfast. There is air conditioning in the room but either it wasn’t working or we didn’t find the remote. As a result warm and noisy night as the window faces the street. There is a fan but impossible to sleep with it going on as it is so noisy. It was the only downside to our stay.

Fantastic stay - great location, lovely helpful staff, clean spacious rooms. Shared bathrooms were limited however which meant slight waits. Highly recommended overall!
