Window on Rome

Great stay. Perfect location.

We were a bit skeptical booking a “guest house” but are happy we did so for this property. The owner was present when arrived and was very friendly. She lives on the same floor as the apartments she rents so is easily accessible if needed. It felt very secure. The doors into the apartments are pretty close to each other but we didn’t hear any sounds from neighboring rooms. This location is less than 5 minutes from the #8 tram so access to the train station is very easy. If you’re into food, you’ll love this location. This are tons of great places to eat and drink within 5 minutes of this location as this region is really a foodie haven. The apartments are on the 5th floor of the building, the top floor, and were created in space that was formerly one apartment around 12 years ago. The room we had was on a corner and had a great view from one side in particular. There is a roof top deck (with a couple of chairs and a small table) that has a wonderful view of part of Rome. It’s about a dozen steps up from the 5th floor. The deck doesn’t have any fancy finishes but it’s all about the view. The building has an elevator, a typical one for a building of this age, and while it is noisy and may not appear overly safe, it was just fine and saved walking up the steps with luggage. The room we had had a true king size bed that was comfortable which was great, and the bathroom had a bidet. Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect location. Immaculate and very comfortable for a short stay. The owners were lovely and very considerate of our delayed flight plans which cost us a day in Rome. They made some amends to our visit. They were lovely.

Room was clean, location is perfect to have dinner in Trastevere.
