Guest house Plitvice Villa Verde

We rented two rooms for our trip to Plitvice National Park. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable and beautifully updated. The location was perfect, and the owner took the time to describe and map out the best path for navigating the national park. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Croatia- I highly recommend!

The breakfast was delicious! Communication with host was excellent. Comfortable room and super close to the stunning Plitvice National Park.

We arrived several hours before the normal check-in time, and the host kindly stored our luggage so that we could explore Plitvice Lakes National Park first and return later to check in. We traveled by bus from Zagreb to Plitvice Lakes. There are three bus stops serving the park—the first two are for Entrances 1 and 2, while we got off at the 3rd stop, Mukinje. The property is only about 500 meters from the station, an easy 6–7 minute walk. The hosts were extremely helpful and even offered to drive us to the park entrance or pick us up afterward if needed. In fact, after we checked out, the host kindly drove us to Entrance 2 in the morning, and we stored our luggage at the park. After spending our second day in the park, it was very convenient to retrieve our luggage and catch our bus to Zadar from the stop at Entrance 2. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the breakfast was wonderful. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Plitvice Lakes.

From the information we received after booking and throughout this was a great experience. Villa Verde is spotless, comfortable and convenient to Plitvice NP. On arrival we were given personal orientation to the park, To top it off the breakfast was wonderful. One of the best managed hotels I have ever stayed in!!
