    Very convenient as it is very near festive walk mall. Everything is within reach. Check in and out was a breeze.

    We stay at the Richmonde Hotel Iloilo every year when we visit family. This time, we were supposed to stay there from Aug 9 until Aug 12 but was not able to check-in until Aug 10 due to a flight cancellation. We were assigned a room in the 12th floor, Deluxe Pool view King Room. Unfortunately, the top 12th floor had this humming sound which appeared to be coming from the ceiling which disrupted my sleep and work. Informed the front desk the next moring and was assigned to a room on the 10th floor, Superior King Room. It felt this was a downgrade from our original room type. The day manager acknowledged that the sound was coming from the ceiling, and most likely from their rooftop equipment. Did not received a sincere apology for the disrupted sleep and work. The replacement room did not have a smart TV, clearly outdated with dirty carpet, dirty windows and the hinge to the refrigerator falling apart. Was disappointed but did not want to complain to try to get a new room, because who has time to pack and unpack during their working vacation. I noticed Belmont just opened a new hotel down the street and will be considering them and the Marriot for our next visit to Iloilo City.
