Basic hotel that clearly used to be (still is?) a love hotel. Sticker on the mirror reminding you to use a condom to prevent HIV. Phone is glued to the nightstand. They give you a tv remote at the desk. Love rooms with dvd players are advertised. Beds are hard as a rock. Having said that, it was very clean and met basic needs.

The hotel area is great but breakfast service was tacky, coffee, juice, fruit and entree was inside the kitchen and you have to ask for it. Everything should be out in the cafeteria ready for customers to eat and if you ask for seconds the lady said that you have to pay for it. Tacky really tacky

It had an elevator--that was a bonus. We assumed there was a bathtub in the room as in the photos when we booked it but there was none. The room was always well cleaned by Sara. We needed a small bag of ice for a sore muscle but we were charged 20 pesos for it. It was a secure hotel. We had a nice stay. Gracias...

Pleasant hotel in a nice neighborhood. The retaurant in the hotel is quite good, and the staff was super, super friendly and helpful. I'd also like to recomment El Leon a block away - that's a fantastic restaurant. The taco place across the street from El Leon is also always busy and good if you need a quick fix.

Awesome hotel! We had a great stay for 8 days. Location: the hotel is a couple of blocks from a metro station. 15 min walk from the Condesa neighborhood. The area was safe, we walked around late evenings and felt quite comfortable. Rooms: we booked a king sized room. The room was spacious and had a big TV with Netflix. (You have to give a deposit of 100mxp for the remote). My only complaint is the walls are too thin and you can hear most of the noise from the hallways.Staff: the room and bathroom were spotlessly cleaned everyday. The staff at the restaurant were prompt with the breakfast service. The check in and check out was very fast. We arrived around 1AM and there were no issues with the check-in.Overall a very good hotel with great value for money. Will recommend anyone for a budget stay with easy access to the City center.

I had 3 rooms for 3 nights. Maybe I did not read the fine lines. Everyone beware. This hotel has no air condition. No heater. So in the winter, which I was there in Dec 26-29,2018. It was really cold during the night. If you go in the summer. Your gonna sweat bullets. Depends on the weather, and your liking of temperature. There was a receptionist. Shoulder length black hair. Rude very rude. Beware of her. I had asked for 3 comforters/blankets to keep us warm. 1 for ea room. I had left them in the room and left to visit the town. Came back I did not see them, cause room service made our bed. They actually put the blankets inside with the other blankets. I asked the receptionist I needed blankets. She gave me an attitude. She told me she already had given me 3. I told her they were not in my room. She told me that was my problem. She had given me 3 already. Totally rude. She needs to be customer orientated

Hotel Atlante was one of the cheapest places I found to stay on my own to attend a wedding. The 10 nights at $377 USD including a breakfast were bottom price. The room was big and had a mirror which on the opposite site was a window from the shower: You can watch the bedroom while in the shower but not vice versa. This and the sticker on the bedroom mirror about using condoms to prevent STDs point to being a questionable hotel but I did not hear, notice or saw any illegal activity on my floor. There are two schools near by and I did not feel unsafe in the neighborhood. The staff is friendly, most speak excl. Spanish. The bed room and bathroom are cleaned impeccably daily. Bottled water for brushing teeth is provided. One LCD TV and a few music channels with a remote attached to head board are available. Then two side tables are fixed to the floor. Windows can be opened. The shower fits approx. 9 people. The breakfast on weekdays is very sparse but one item can be ordered from the menu for free. On weekends is a small buffet with mostly roles and various pastries, coffee/tee orange juice and milk provided. Noise level is low although traffic and some honking never stops in Mexico City. There is no A/C. Wifi was not always reliable but okay.

We end up staying for 2 nights. The room is large, king size bed. Clean towels and bathroom. Very close to everything. I feel comfortable walking at night a lot of friendly neighborhood. The breakfast is also great, eggs 2 type, beans and often meat. Not your typical continental breakfast, lcoal food.
