Check in was not smooth. The bathroom was not in the room. They didn’t clean the room on our second day. The key to the bathroom didn’t work properly. It wasn’t a hotel. It was more like staying in someone’s house sharing with other guests. Not a comfortable stay at all.

My partner and I spent seven nights at Corte Passi, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Although we had an external bathroom, it was perfectly fine—a spacious and well-maintained bathroom that met our needs, even though it was located at the end of the hallway. Corte Passi is conveniently located close to the city, yet in a quiet area where we weren't disturbed by traffic noise. The host was lovely and welcomed us warmly. Despite her limited English, she was always kind and greeted us with a smile each morning. Corte Passi is definitely suitable for a week-long stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the experience. The room was clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of air conditioning and a shared fridge in the hallway. The bed was quite comfortable as well. Overall, we are very satisfied and had a wonderful vacation.

Adorable bed and breakfast, Milena is the best! She made us feel right at home and kept our bags safe for us after we checked out. Very clean and comfy place, great for the price. Super quiet and peaceful at night yet a very short walk from the heart of Florence, we loved the location. About a 13 minute walk to the Accademia and only a few minutes from wonderful restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again!

Unpleasant stay. To start with, you need to contact the host to be able to checkin, luckily we had a SIM card, otherwise this would have been very problematic. After finally reaching the host, she very rudely answered, and made us wait 5 minutes to be able to go inside, while we were waiting outside in the rain with all of our bags. The checkin process was awful, and took almost 45 minutes. The host became very hostile and rude when we requested an AC remote, insisting that we did not need it as the weather was fine, even though it exceeded 30 degrees during the days of our stay. The external bathroom is also quite a walk from the room, and it was unclear on whether it was was even private as advertised. To add to this, the place also had a smell of off meat the whole time, had wifi which barely worked, and a lot of street noise. I would classify this as possibly the worst and most uncomfortable stay that I’ve experienced, and do not recommend.

The Hotel was perfectly located near the SMN train station and close to downtown area. I spend seven nights at the Hotel. We went to Firenze to help my daughter start her college career. Very clean place, coffee machine makes excellent coffee, refrigerator in the room, access to microwave. The place was quite at night.

This is a good spot to base your exploration of Florence. The property did not seem staffed and we had to call a telephone number where a staff member then helped us enter the property. The room was clean and spacious and toilet was modern. There was a basic kitchen with a coffee machine, microwave and kettle. The location is safe and has good access to both metro and the city center.

The location is good, the place looks nice. It doesn’t have a reception (the landlord doesn’t live in either) so this is why people have had problems with their check in. Just call in advance and let them know when you’ll arrive. My room was indeed noisy so if you’re a light sleeper it might be a problem (it was ensuite, so maybe the ones with the shared bathroom would be better from this point of view, but I’m not sure). All in all very friendly staff and a clean place.

The room is clean and very well located as its near the train station and all major tourist attractions are at walking distance. Its a small room but it justifies the price we paid for it. The welcome message sent day before was a very good experience. The message contained all the necessary details to get to the room including wifi details. Very professional indeed. Only thing i would like to be changed is the pillows and have more hooks in the room. There were no hooks or pegs in our room no 5. A few hooks(pegs) would be good to keep your clothes or towels out of the way. An extra pair of pillow would make a huge difference in the comfort level.

The overall experience of staying at Corte Passi was closer to staying in a high end hostel, which wasn't what we were after. Despite the title 'B&B,' there's no breakfast available, though this wasn't the reason for us checking out early. We were displeased on arrival by there being no one present at the premises, leaving us stranded outside in the street after a long journey and having to buzz one of the other guest houses on site (there are three located in the building) to be let inside. Then, on getting inside, we were locked in the inside corridor with no way of gaining entry to the check in area. Eventually, after knocking, buzzing and phoning the number we had with no reply, some of the other guests reluctantly let us in. We waited for some time until the sole member of staff appeared to check us in, who offered no apology or explanation for leaving us stranded, despite the establishment's claim that check in was anytime between 1pm and 9pm. This experience was repeated for another guest the following evening, who we let into the premises, having gone through the same inconvenience ourselves. The event that made us decide to leave in favour of a decent hotel (we were on our honeymoon and decided to get somewhere more suitable) was being told we were going to be moved to a different room, which involved having to either leave our luggage insecure or having the room locked and risk not being able to get back inside again.

Not quite sure what to say about this place. The host, Stefano, was a strange man. He did not welcome us or even talk to us. No one was present while we were checking out so we just left the key on the table in our room. As we left the building, we ran into Stefano and we told him that we are checking out and that we had left the key. He walked straight pass us, without looking our direction or saying a word. They clean the room daily but forgot to lock the door after the work was done. On our second night the doorbell wouldn't stop ringing so we let the man in. The man was checking in that night but the host had not showed up to let him in. We obviously let him in, but we think this is unprofessional. However, the rooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable. You have your own bathroom, but you have to walk through the common area to reach it. This Bed and Breakfast does not serve any breakfast. There was a coffemachine there, but it only made espresso. We never stay anywhere fancy and there is nothing "wrong" about this place, but we wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Our room was quiet and clean but our other group said they had a lot of road noise because they were next to the street. The hotel was great for the price point. We had to pay an addition tax per person which was not included in the price.

This place is so basic & the pictures are far better online because of the angles but in person it completely lacks any appeal. All the furniture is from Ikea & very cheap MDF material from cardboard not from wood. This place is also an Airbnb, if Expedia had let me know it was an Airbnb I wouldnt have booked it at all. I wouldnt consider this place to be a real hotel but more like room and board. The toilet set was broken, everyday I was worried I would either break my back or fall in the bowl. Its very hard to find the Entrance because you expect this to be a hotel but this place just blends in with the other residence buildings. Also if you want a quiet sleep forget about getting it here because its right next to a bus Station and in the morning all the Traffic outside the window is beyond loud. I do not recommend this place at all. Stay somewhere else in this price range, you can find better. Terrible Room & board.

we were late arriving at the hotel. front door was locked and no answer to the doorbell. we finally used a neighbor's phone to contact the hotel owner. he opened the door to the hotel remotely. we found a note telling us our room number and other instructions. we saw the owner the following day for about an hour and never saw him again. we were the only guests at the hotel. there was no so called breakfast, no wifi, and no phones in the hotel. without wifi, we would have been unable to call anybody in the event of an emergency, we couldn't call for taxi service and we couldn't arrange for tours for lack of a phone. it was very distressing.

Overall I had a great time staying at Corte Passi : the room is clean, having out private bathroom, and free coffee available. Just remember to check in before 9pm or call them if you will be arriving late. I didn't realize that there is a check in time, and we arrived at 11pm when there is no staff helping us. We had to ring the bell numerous times until other guest opened the door for us, and called the owner aftwrward. But it's a good stay except that little incident :)
