The hotel is located in a very nice and safe neighborhood in Paris. The value for the price that we paid (with discount on agoda) makes this stay truly worth it. The room is nice with all the necessities (towels, shampoos, coffee, tea), a bit cramped but the usual size for parisien rooms.

I stayed as a solo traveller in different budget hotels over a week in Paris. The room was neat but you can find better places elsewhere. Unhelpful chap in reception, does not smile . I find that the room was noisy and not sound proofed, so you are hearing others walking in corridors, flushing the toilet in the night etc. You will be lucky to get any sleep.

Nice location, walkable to some tourist attractions. Our room is clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. No complaints.

I had booked a room for my daughter who was traveling alone. She had the most unpleasant experience of her life at this hotel.
When she reached the hotel, the person at the desk spoke to her in a very rude manner. She checked in and went towards her room. The staircase had no light, the hotel felt like it was an abandoned building and it was very scary for her just walking to her room. Once in the room she couldn't stop crying. I asked her to leave immediately. The 15 minutes that she spent in the hotel was the most unpleasant experience of her life.
On the way out she told the person that she was leaving because she didn't feel safe in the room and the surprising answer was that "I understand" which means that this is normal for the hotel. She asked the person at the counter if they would give her a full or partial refund but as it was a non-refundable booking it was understandable that they refused to give any refund although it would have been nice if they had.
Luckily, it was about 6:30 PM and it was Paris so she could be out on the street and stay in another place. She enjoyed her stay at the other place. I won't name the place as it may give the impression that I had a vested interest in writing this review.
Don't know how the hotel managed to get 8.8 Excellent rating on*** and 8.5 Very Good rating on ***. Which means ratings on these sites can't be trusted. Ratings are being manipulated which must be investigated by Agoda.
Hope this is useful to other travellers and they stay away from the hotel.
