Great location, friendly staff and clean rooms with all necessary facilities.

The hotel is in a great location, easy walking distance from the main attractions of Paris, with several cafes nearby. Staff were all friendly, helpful and respectful. The room was clean and well maintained. The little balcony had a superb view over the street and rooftops to Notre Dame and Sacre Coeur in the distance.

My sister and I were in a twin room, which was pretty cramped; there was only room for one chair, and when one of us sat in that, the other had to climb over the beds to get to the bathroom. But we were there to see the city, not stay in the room, and the room was the perfect refuge for resting after a busy day sightseeing.

The location is superb. The shelves full of books at the reception were very in with the theme of the Quartier Latin. The staff was friendly. The hotel is in a typical Parisian building and had a good atmosphere overall.

Unfortunately, the walls are very thin. Doors open and close with a lot of noise. There were some young travellers who kept knocking on each other's doors and talked loudly in the hallway at night. They were repeatedly warned by staff and hotel guests but kept making noise night after night. If this was a very cheap hotel, I would perhaps accept it, but for this price, I expected more than this kind of youth hostel feel...
