Alloggio della Posta Vecchia has a lot of charm, but it comes with a few challenges. The townhouse itself is lovely and well decorated, and our room was beautiful—full of character and very inviting. The web photos are just as it really looks. The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance.
However, getting there was tricky. The streets are narrow and the area busy, making it hard to find. Our host directed us, but the language barrier meant we didn’t fully understand the instructions. Also, be prepared for lots of stairs and uphill walking, so this is not a good choice for anyone with mobility issues.
In short: gorgeous and atmospheric, but best for agile travelers who don’t mind a bit of a search to find it.

Absolutely perfect stay. Amazing accommodations. Easy check-in. Very welcoming hosts and such a beautiful property. Immaculately clean. Wonderful. Highly recommend.
