Dimora Hostel

Spent two nights there in the 5 or 6 beds dormitory, everything went smoothly. Huge common spaces and we were two or three! The person at the reception is helpful even of he doesn't speak much english, and all the bus time tables are available at reception (and if not, he will find them for you). Kitchen fully functionnal, bathrooms a bit old but clean, and my bed was good. Plus, it's calm. 10 min walk from bus station, at the end of the main touristic street. Good value overall.

The building is very large and quite empty, therefore the sounds echo everywhere very loudly. It’s a fun building, like a labyrinth. Besides me there was only one other guest in another room. In the darkness of the night it was a bit strange. I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all but this could feel discomforting for some people. It was difficult to find by car but Salvatore was very helpful.

I enjoyed my stay at Dimora Hostel in Agrigento. I walked in and got a room on the day I arrived. The shared room was very big, and Salvatore was the soul of the place, always bringing a good energy. They had a laundry machine and towels for guests. I visited during the low season, so I did not get to experience the hostel at its fullest, but it was still easy to see that it has a good vibe. The game room and kitchen looked fun, and I’ll make sure return to enjoy the full Dimora experience next time.

As expected from other reviews, I didn't see any other traveller for my stay, I only saw the front receptionist. Good location in centre of town and close to bus stops for Valley of the Temples. I didn't use it but there was a big kitchen and common area

I was in a 5 bed dorm and there wasn't bunk beds, just beds in a school dormitory style which was weird. The hostel definitely wasn't a social hostel but it just depends on your trip.
