A couple of nights in Wissant. Room 402 has great view from balcony as your photo shows. Funny arrangement to access room thru emails but all came together. The breakfast was good traditional French / Dutch fair. Their restuarant in the village, about 1/2 mile, is worth a visit.

It was the worst hotel experience ive had for a long time, hosts dont care about people, just about the money to be made off you they are arrogant and dont make an effort to make your stay at all personally nice and welcoming. The carpets and room feel dirty and are just not nice.

The hostess was lovely. The hotel was convenient, a bit outside of town but still easy to find and travel around. The family suite was perfect for us as we had 4 adults and 2 younger kids. We had spacious rooms and terraces and fantastic views. We look forward to visiting again.

We had a great stay, while enjoying the interesting history of the area and the two "Caps" with great free parking and excellent information boards. When logging onto the Hotels website you can view live streams of the hotel views and the wonderful beach.

We had booked online and checked straight out after arrival. The lady in charge at reception was very pleasant and listened to our reasoning - they even showed us an alternative room - which was even worse. The room was certainly flattered from the site photographs as was the garden. Parking would be a nightmare with very little space and no real alternative nearby. A full length mirror was leaning against a wall in the bedroom and there was a wide gap at the top of the fixed bed where pillows would just fall down. I think the impression given on the site - theirs and Hotels.com - certainly flatters. We drove 200 miles from Laon to get there and drove 200 miles back to stay somewhere else as life is too short to waste a week somewhere as bad as this. Losing that much money is not something we can do lightly but a cost worth paying to ensure our holiday was enjoyable. This is the first time a booking has been so wrong.

We stayed in the annexe which had amazing sea views and a balcony. The room had everything we needed for a stopover and was in a good position for the Tunnel. Thought the price a bit steep.The only thing I would change was the mattress protector which was plastic and sweaty in the night.Also no dogs allowed on promenade or beach. However we ate in the Main hotel and it was excellent if a bit prices.

My wife & I are walking the Via Francigena from Canterbury to Arras. We had a little trouble checking in because it's in a different location than the hotel proper. Once we were settled in though we loved everything about Wissant.
