I had a very comfortable stay at Plaza Hotel during my trip to Bishkek. The location is excellent and convenient for exploring the city, with many key places within easy reach. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. It was a convenient base for my day trips around Kyrgyzstan as well. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would recommend the hotel, especially for travelers looking for a comfortable stay in central Bishkek.

Rooms were quite spacious, sheets and towels were clean. Location is quite central and great.
However, the service at this hotel is almost non-existent.
Had the strangest check-in experience. We had a couple of bags and were loading them at the drop off porch onto the hotel trolley. No one came to help. At the check-in counter, we stood at the counter and were ignored by the 2 staff there. One was labelling some keycards, the other was watching videos on his phone. No eye contact at all. Had to repeat that we wanted to check-in.
Then, even though we had made a prior booking for 3 beds, and it was past 3pm, the room was not ready. We had to wait again.
Finally, we had to wheel the trolley up to the room ourselves, in a tiny lift. My first experience having to do that on my own in a hotel! When we arrived at our floor, there were 3 housekeeping ladies who just gawked. Granted, it was not their role to help us with the trolley, but it was just weird.
The night shift staff were a bit more friendly - at least greeted us when we walked past the counter.
