I booked this room last minute. I was shocked to find an outdoor heated pool and the hotel being located in such a quiet area. It felt like a resort. Very nice stay.

Pros… Would highly recommend Eden Oaks as a place to stay in Geelong Great location to the botanical gardens and the waterfront. Comfortable modern bathroom and facilities. Value add breakfast. Restaurant staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons…. Unpleasant Check In
The gentleman at the front desk / check was blunt and come seemed annoyed that he had to check us in, ultimately failed to provide a warm reception on our arrival, despite us arriving after check in time, we had to wait 40 minutes to be allocated our room key, no apology for the inconvenience, we had to pass time and wander around aimlessly waiting for our room key. Didn’t leave a great impression.
