We were stranded due to Typhoon Hagibis and the staff accommodated us for an extra night and looked after us brilliantly even providing a wonderful meal in the evening

Shimizu is a small town, peacefully good for relax.
The hotel is near JR station very convenient, you can find shops around the hotel.

Our experience here was exceptional. The hotel location itself is very convenient, located a 5 minute walk from the train station. The entrance is located within a unique outdoor shopping mall with a ceiling. Unfortunately we arrived at 10:30 pm when everything was closed, but this would be a cool place to explore in the day. The staff of the hotel was extremely friendly and very accommodating, even though we never forewarned them of our late arrival time. Additionally they were able to recommend an excellent ramen place nearby that was still open. The room Itself was slightly larger than the average Japanese room. The double bed was extremely comfortable and everything was clean. The next day, the staff was able to help us ship my suitcase to my boyfriends home, as we planned to attend a concert and could not take it with us. I imagine they would be able to offer a similar service between hotels. Overall, I was very impressed with the quality, customer service, and value of this hotel, and would highly recommend it to anyone requiring a place to stay.
