We stopped off in Hvar for a couple of nights en-route from Dubrovnik to Split and so glad we chose Dela. We had such a relaxing time there. It is a family run establishment and they really go out of their way to help and make your stay special. The Dela is located up a hill just out of town but the family are always on hand to pick you up or drop you off. We were picked up from the ferry and after dining out in the old town so nothing to worry about, it's a pleasant walk downhill into town though. Being higher the benefit is the magnificent view over the sea and the islands with spectacular sunsets. The room itself was very comfortable, with a modern bathroom and fantastic terrace balcony. The pool area is very relaxing with comfortable sunbeds. We chose breakfast and that again was excellent, with choice from a menu and a whole range of delights! Special thank you to Vincent for the great music over breakfast! There is also a pool table, ping pong and a gym, though we didn't have time. Would certainly recommend and if we're ever back in Hvar would only consider Dela!

I stayed at B&B Dela for two nights during vacation. This is a locally-owned B&B and the family is incredibly welcoming. My partner was feeling unwell on the day of check-in, and they accommodated an early check-in with no problem. Everything is impeccably clean, and the pool area, gym and common area look as if brand new. There is a beautiful beach within 15min walk down the hill / local streets, and the old town cathedral and waterfront area are within another 15min walk down the road. I would recommend this stay to friends and family!

We stayed here for 5 nights, and I cannot recommend this place enough. The rooms / hotel are all super clean, with nice size balconies and smart TV. The beds and pillows are super comfy, the shower is hot and there is a lot of storage place - nothing to complain about at all! The pool area is so nice, very comfortable padded sun-loungers which are much nicer than those you would get at some 5* hotels. The public toilets by the pool, and showers, again are spotlessly clean - and the gym is better than most hotel gyms with great equipment. But what sets this place apart is the family who own and run it day to day. Vincent, Lidija and her mother, uncle… whoever you may meet. They are all so nice and will do anything for you. We were contacted before we arrived on the island, telling us Vincent would pick us up at the bus stop near the port. And Vincent will explain to you that he will take you to and from town every day whenever you need - taxis are €20 one way for 0.9km journey - so this is a great help and we cannot thank Vincent enough for this. Lidija booked us excursions, and would give you anything you needed to make your stay better - they really do go above and beyond. The service at this place is much better than most hotels - they care! Good breakfast, €15pp with eggs cooked to order. I will recommend this place to all my friends who visit Hvar. It really made our time on the island easy and very enjoyable. No complaints. Perfect!

Lidija, Vincent and the family were all very helpful, hospitable and friendly. We had an amazing stay over 3 days - the property met expectations, the pool area was awesome and we were offered car trips to and from Hvar Town as needed (5 min drive). Will definitely be back!

Beautiful view of the Adriatic and surrounding islands, lovely pool, and the family could not have provided more friendly and excellent service! They treated us with a toast of the local wine and provided a delicious and generous breakfast. And to top it off, they drove us to and from town when we needed it! Highly recommend the place!

What a fantastic place. Vincent and his family were incredible. They give you lifts down to the main area in Hvar whenever you would like and also pick you up! The breakfast is extensive and delicious. The pool area is brilliant with comfortable sunbeds which are all new and the pool is very clean. Also an area with table tennis, pool table and table football which we used a lot. There is a fully equipped gym where all the machines/weights are new and there is a large tv you can use. The room was basic but clean and did the trick. I cannot believe how good value this place is especially in Hvar which is expensive. I 100% recommend to stay here!

Superfriendy staff and it was a family owned business. We got picked up free of charge and also they drove us inte the center of town when ever we needed. Really beautiful view of the ocean from the room. This accommodation is really good for the money spent and it is highly recommended.

Wonderfull stay at B&B Dela, we regret to leave. The family shared their history on Hvar and gave us advises about what to see, bringing us on demand to downtown (1,3 km). The rooms are very functional, we had views on the sea, and enjoyed the swimming pool. Hvar is such a lovely place to walk around and have sea baths

The room was really old fashioned, not even a safe in the room. The view was supposed to be sea view well it was if you looked across 4 other balconies. The main view was of a house partly built, surrounded by old cars, boats and junk. The hotel was too far from the town, up a steep hill.The only good thing was the staff, in particular, Vincent who acts as a free taxi driver to the guests.

Vincent and his family made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Vincent gave us lifts into and out if the centre which saved us a huge amount as taxis are very expensive. The hotel and pool area are lovely haven away from the business of Hvar Town. Our room was very nice with a large balcony with stunning sea views. Would highly recommend

Our stay was made by the family who ran the property. From the free car service into and out of the city whenever we needed, to the amazing buffet breakfast. The place itself was perfect for our needs. Away from the madness of the hub but close via car. The pool, the room and the food were all fantastic. And the staff were generous with information and their time. Highly recommend.

Had txt from hotel day before our arrival to confirm a pick up time from bus station. From thereon the family could not do enough to help us, especially Vincent driving us in and out of town. It is about a 20 minute walk, very steep hill. We had stunning panoramic views from our balcony. The pool area was very relaxing with comfortable loungers, pool towels provided. Food and drink available from the bar. Overall enjoyed our stay in a quite location with beautiful views, hosted by a very friendly helpful family.

On this trip, we stayed in hotels in Split, Brac, Hvar and Dubrovnik. B&B Dela was, by far, the most welcoming and intimate, and cared most about the small touches that made our stay memorable. The pre-arrival messaging, free pick-up from the ferry port, refusal to accept a monetary gratuity for the many rides offered to and from Town Center, large discount on car rental (by giving up their own referral fee from the car rental company), excellent sight-seeing and restaurant advice, very quick response to text message requests ... but a few of the touches that always made us feel very welcome and valued. They also made our kids (5 and 3 years old) feel extremely welcome and comfortable, like family. Lidija and Vincent are absolute gems. We give B&B Dela our highest possible recommendation.

It was great Lydia was very helpful and Vincent really went off the way to take care of us. It is 5 min away from town but they will take you back and forth into town. There is also a pool to cool off and relax if need be. Would recommend anyone coming to Hvar to stay here. Bed is comfy and shower pressure is good.

Very welcoming hosts, they will even drive you from the ferry or to the centre of Hvar. Free parking and quiet despite being on the main road to Hvar. If you want to walk, Hvar is less than 1/2h away and the views are great, day and night. Large room with terrace and amazing views over Hvar and the bay. Huge comfortable bed, friendly served breakfast, and nice, tasty homemade snacks/drinks offered to you.

The family who run Dela looked after the two of us in a first class way. We were given lifts to the town many times, and picked up again too. Lifts were given to a special beach and to the top of the Fortress also. They could not do enough!! I heartily recommend Dela as a medium cost location. The pool was super by the way!

Hotel was great, everyone is well mannered and willing to help. Also couldn’t thank the staff for driving us to and from the bus stop, saving us from paying 100 kuna each way! Hotel room view was also out of this world.
