Amazing cute, quaint hotel! So much character! Best part was the speak easy bar that we discovered last night. We loved it! Can’t wait to come back!

The staff was amazing. They were very helpful and met every need. The food was also wonderful. We ended up liking it so much that we ate there 3 times during our stay. Our biggest disappointment was the condition of the bed. It was very uncomfortable and swayed into the middle. Wife kept rolling into my during the nights. Updated bed would be ideal for this hotel.

Everything was fine. It was clean. We checked in late so we only saw the front desk staff who were trying to leave for the night. We had no other interaction with anyone. The speakeasy downstairs was great.

People are fantastic that work there! Clean and welcoming. We didn't eat at the restaurant this trip but we're have before. Food is very good. Bartenders make great drinks and they are attentive and friendly. Bed and pillows too soft for us and TV was located high on the wall to the side of the bed. Very awkward.

The manager was awesome! We left something very important in our room and only discovered AFTER we got home that it was missing! We drove back(hour drive) and she was able to help us get it back, even though the room was rented for the night. She went above and beyond to help us!

Old hotel so did expect minimal luxury’s. Hotel itself was ok . Staff were great . Such thin walls and pigs of guests staying close by made for a noisy night .

We liked our stay there, with only a couple of recommendations for the owners. Put some sort of dresser in the room. We were living out of our suitcase, and the room had the space for a small one. In the bathroom, please put some kind of shelf for ladies to put their makeup on. Again, there is room for it. Our trash can was in the shower, collecting water from the drippy shower.

Stayed at Hotel Sutter during our driving trip through the Gold Country. Since we went during the off season, Sutter Creek was not crowded and was very nice. The hotel staff were friendly and provided suggestions on where to eat, etc. The only complaint was the bed was a little uncomfortable which affected our sleep. Even with that issue, I would stay there again.

I love Sutter Creek. Charming town with lots to explore. Hotel Sutter provides a relaxing and enjoyable place to stay a long the historic Highway 49 with an esteemed restaurant and bar on premises, the Sutter Theatre across the street and helpful staff that all contributed to the convenience and enjoyment of our mini vacation.

The hotel was right across the street from the theater where I was seeing Tempest. The room was small but nice, except for the bed. It was so hard it made my back so sore that I could hardly walk. Next time, I'll ask for a softer mattress.

Super cute hotel! Absolutely loved the location, was able to walk around and explore Sutter Creek with ease, very centrally located. There is not a ton of parking on the property, but a few blocks away there is a larger lot that allows for long term parking which we used. If you like wine, Bella Grace was a fun and laid back tasting room that's kid and pet friendly with the grounds outside. Shops and cafes are adorable, plenty to do, would love to go back!
