The hostal is in Sol a very vibrant busy part of central Madrid. A very comfy bed, private bathroom and Aircon meant a good night's sleep each day we stayed and represented great value for money. We were round the back so it was very quiet, despite being in a noisy area, unsure if that might be a problem if you're elsewhere in the hostel. We did have to check in elsewhere, which was a bit of a drag as we arrived at 2am due to a delay but otherwise no problems.

Exactly as expected. Very small so I can’t fault that. If you’re not ready for that, find somewhere else. The location is everything!
Do be prepared to walk your bags from the check in hotel to here. It’s maybe 50m
I would definitely stay again.

Cute spot. Walkable to many spots and a main subway in Sol. Only complaint- no attendant ever on hand and pillows were not comfortable.
