This is a very small, family-run place, about a 15 minute walk from the Markt Square in the center of Old Town. The owners are wonderful, friendly and very accommodating. Its a proper B&B with a free breakfast served by the owner in the morning. Very happy with my stay!

Fantastic little B&B very close to the centre of Bruges. It only has three guest rooms, so it feels like you're staying at home with the hosts. They are very friendly and helpful and point you in the right direction for any questions about the city. The room (no 3) was very spacious and clean. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept very well. The road was quiet at night but did seem to have some traffic in the morning. As many other guests have commented, the breakfast was lovely. Served to us rather than being a buffet, we were presented with a nice selection of local meats and cheeses, coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice. There's no official parking but the hosts lent us a parking permit that gives us fours of parking for free in the surrounding streets with no problem finding a space. Highly recommended...

Had a wonderful stay in this quaint B&B. The owners Patrick and Jean-Pierre were extremely friendly, courteous and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with home made jams, juices and fresh meats and cheeses from the surrounding area. The B&B with a lovely garden is located in a residential area just a short walk from the train station. Would definitely stay in this rental again!

Het Wit Beertje is a charming B&B, quirky but clean and comfortable and we loved our stay. Mr Defour speaks good English and made us feel very welcome and told us about the best places to visit and eat. The location is good, being only a 10-15 minutes pleasant stroll right into the heart of Bruges. We had an off-street parking space a couple of minutes’ walk from the B&B. The breakfast was outstanding with a selection of breads, pastries, cheeses, yoghurt and fruit as well as a variety of teas including Yorkshire Brew.

We only stayed one night at the white bear and when we arrived early to drop our bag off, we had a warming welcome, given a map and told us where the best places to go in Bruges. Breakfast was excellent plenty to eat even though I am vegetarian. From was clean and cosy with view over the garden and quirky, Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

We were made so welcome and had a lovely, comfortable stay. In a fantastic, quiet location. The breakfast was really lovely too. We got a bus to and from the station for 3 Euros each and the bus stop was very close to the accommodation. It was about a 10 minute walk to the centre of town. I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast. The owners made us feel at home!

They were very welcoming. When he found out I was leaving earlier than breakfast was served he left me a full packed breakfast at my door even though I told him not to worry about it. What a sweet surprise!

We received such a warm welcome upon arrival with lots of information on what to do. Whilst the B&B is classed as 3 * the breakfast is definitely 5* with a different spread every day. Patrick has been doing this for a long time and knows how to give good customer service.

Friendly & helpful hosts; restaurant standard breakfast in the sunroom with a view of the beautiful garden. 8 euro taxi fare from the train station with ATM & great food nearby. You can walk to the city centre if youre reasonably fit as the terrain is flat all the way. B&B Het Wit Beertje gets my seal of approval.

We stayed for one night at this B&B and it was wonderful. Our hosts were so friendly and helped out with lots of tips for what to see in Bruges. The room was comfortable and clean, and the air conditioning was very welcome on a hot night. The hotel is set on a quiet street a few minutes walk from the centre and we felt very safe at all times. The breakfast was huge and clearly made with love. Would definitely come back here again.

These people must have invented the word hospitality because they have it down to a science. It was a wonderful place to stay. I would stay here again. I cannot say enough good things about the hosts though. They blew us away with the ways they spoiled us at breakfast.

This B&B is well located, on a quiet street not far from one of the gates leading to the city. It is less than a 20 minute walk to get to the town main square. The room was very comfortable, with a recently renovated bathroom. The breakfast was quite a feast, with homemade compotes, vanilla cream, in addition to yogurts, fruits, meats, cheeses, pâtés , etc. Enough to hold you up for a good portion of the day. The owner is quite attentive to his guests' needs and is very helpful and pleasant. I highly recommend this B&B

Really liked the stay. Was very clean welcoming and a really nice room. We were given a map when we arrived and advised points of interest. Very nice breakfast in the morning. The location is great too. 5 to 10 mins walk to the centre. Wish we stayed longer. I would definitely recommend it.
