    I’ve booked a honeymoon suite. The room is quite spacious and not expensive at all — it’s only around *** for a large room in the city centre, with a big bathtub. Although it’s about a 10‑minute walk to the metro, you can easily take an Uber or taxi right outside the hotel. It’s also only a 15‑minute drive to various tourist attractions.

    We had a great experience at this hotel! It kind of feels like old Vegas, in a good way. The staff were amazing-if we ever needed anything it was sent up to our room before we even got back to it. They cleaned the room immaculately each day while we were out. The breakfast was a huge delicious buffet, a mix of Chinese and Western foods. The area itself isn’t necessarily amazing, but it felt safe to walk around even late at night, we couldn’t hear any road noise, and the public transportation makes it very easy to go anywhere in the city. 10/10 would recommend

    Although this hotel is not in a tourist hotspot, it provides easy access to Taipei attractions and is close to many upscale bars and restaurants. The honeymoon suite is comfortably large especially ideal if you are staying a week. They provided us with a cot and bathtub for our toddler, daily room cleaning, water and occasional snacks. The hotel was probably upscale back in the day and you can tell by the furnishings and is well kept although now slightly dated. Therefore bring your own travel adaptor with USB plugs as there aren’t any. Above all, the cleanliness and service is exceptional. Truly value for money compared to nearby branded hotels of similar calibre.

    Staff are not courteous at all and the most impolite ones I have seen in all my stays in Taiwan . Location is not that great
