Lovely welcome upon arrival and shown to a beautiful room with more than everything that we required. Very clean and comfortable - had the best nights sleep. Lovely bar with log fire and a gorgeous evening meal. Breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend. We will be staying again.

The dinner and breakfast were both, substantial and good quality. The staff were friendly and chatty.
The quality of the room was excellent, although the bright fire exit sign didn't aid dropping off to sleep and the bathroom heated towel rail wasn't on, so the bathroom was cold.
I didn't see the area around the property so i couldn't comment.
