Cara Lodge, Comfortable Self Check-in En-suite Guest Rooms

Great location. Everything is at a short walking distance. Good sized room and bathroom. Host super responsive.

The rug that is used at the entrance needs replacing as it smells unpleasantly when you enter the property. The bathroom would benefit from a bathroom bin.

It was a very good location in terms of nearness to the station and access to town. Ease of access, to property and no fuss check-in and out.. It was very quiet in relation to other residents. The shower was hot and easy to use. Bathroom was spacious. I was pleased to find a hairdryer even though you said there was no hairdryer there, so thank you. I was surprised to find that there was a kitchen and dining area. More might be made of this facility in your advertising and information.

There was a hole in the duvet cover. Room 7 bathroom would benefit from tiling behind the sink as it the paintwork was starting to wear.

My first thoughts on entering the property was just how clean it was. Downstairs is a lovely shared dining/lounge/kitchen area which was today and clean. My room was on the first floor and was beautifully lit naturally by a large window to the foot of a good sized bed. The bathroom was also well lit and roomy containing bath, shower, sink and loo with plenty of changing area. The property itself was less than 10 minutes walk from the train station and, once settled in and unpacked, a short walk into Berwick to explore. Very happy with the accommodation and would certainly stay there again ❤️

The location was good, easy to locate, parking was a bit of a hassle, after 24 hours you needed to move your car to another car park, found out later it would have been easier to park at the train station for a relatively cheap cost.

The towels weren’t changed, although the information said they are if you stay more than 2 days. There was no fridge to store milk to make a drink. Supplies for tea and coffee were only enough for one night not 4 nights. Busy road, heavy traffic for most of the night Front door was broken, unable to lock it, we only had the lock to our bedroom door.
