    I made double booking and I am not able to reach the hotel nor the Agoda.. I would advise others to careful while booking with Agoda

    To be fair, this hotel provides all the basic amenities expected for a comfortable stay — air-conditioning, refrigerator, mineral water, water heater and adequate power points. However, there are two issues that I feel the hotel seriously needs to look into, especially for the safety of elderly guests. The main concern is the shower and bathtub design. All the rooms we stayed in came with a bathtub. Although there is a shower head, it is fixed at the far end of the bathtub and positioned behind a glass panel. To reach and remove the shower head, you first have to climb into the bathtub. It is therefore not practical to use the shower from outside the tub. The bathtub is approximately 15–20 inches high. This may not be an issue for a normal middle-aged adult, but it can be difficult and unsafe for elderly guests. Even for younger adults, once the bathtub is wet and there is shampoo or soap on the surface, it becomes extremely slippery. A fall could potentially result in someone hitting their head against the marble basin top or falling against the bathtub itself. As I was travelling with elderly parents, this was a constant concern throughout our stay. The second issue was the basin tap, which could not be closed properly. When we informed the staff, we were told that we needed to use more force to close it. Unfortunately, we were still unable to stop it completely, and the tap continued dripping throughout our stay. Apart from being inconvenient, it resulted in unnecessary wastage of water. Having said that, I would still like to commend the staff for trying their best to assist us. They provided additional non-slip mats and a pail so that the elderly could shower more safely, and I genuinely appreciated their effort. Overall, the hotel itself has adequate basic facilities, but I strongly feel that the bathtub/shower arrangement and leaking taps need attention. For younger or able-bodied travellers, the bathtub height may not be a major issue. However, for families travelling with elderly parents or anyone with mobility difficulties, I would unfortunately not recommend this hotel in its current setup due to the safety concerns.
