How is there no one to check people in. One of the worst businesses I ever encountered.

I made a reservation through expedia. I called the hostel to say O would be a late check-in. I was told no that would be impossible. It is ‘freirabend’ happy hour. So he would not let me in the hostel. Said No and hung up. I had to find another hotel. So i refuse or decline any charges. It was a pay the when you arrive. But i refuse sny fees. Due to poor service.

Seems to be a “long term” stay place. The shared bathroom, shower, and kitchen was a bit uncomfortable, but manageable. Clean enough, but you’re really getting what you pay for here.

Have to take the tram from the train station. Rooms are fine, lots of Arabic live in there.

They didn’t allow me to check in past 8.30 even though I booked this property on wot if at 9.30pm. Something needs to change, it needs to be taken off wot if, If its not actually available to check in at the time you book it later at night! The receptionist was rude and unhelpful

Sorry I do it in English, I am not very good in German! The building is really not very pleasant, the person in reception leaves at 19:00, fortunately I arrived beforehand but I expected with that price, that the reception would work at least in the eveing! I learned from another client I could use Internet, but nobody told me at reception...

I was very impressed, as Ive stayed in many hostels, and this one had the most comfortable beds. I was not too happy, though, to be put in a mixed (men/women) room. One thing that could be improved is that there were only two chairs in a four-bed room. A room with sofas and chairs to relax in would be great. Would stay here again.
