I would give this place six stars, if I could. Even though I carefully chose House Sandra based on reviews and photos, they still far exceeded my expectations. My room was very spacious, and nicely appointed. The bed was so comfy! The lighting and décor were very classy. The bathroom looked like it had been recently remodeled. This was probably on me not fully reading the description, but I had imagined there would be more kitchenette stuff, like a stove and paper towels. Very small detail, though. The location is unbeatable: close to the local attractions, close to local bus station to go visit Trogir, and close to the pazar. More importantly, it’s also a short walk to the bus and ferry station, which made it ideal for my arrival and departure to Split, as well as for my island adventures. It was very easy to find. The owner was gracious when my bus was delayed and about letting me store my luggage after checkout time. All this, at a very reasonable price! Hvala!!

I highly recommend House Sandra. I requested the airport pickup and Marko was waiting for me at arrivals. He was so kind and gave me great recommendations. The room was huge and beautiful!

House Sandra was a great experience, pristinely clean, modern, comfortable, with a central location in a quaint street very close to the old town and the market, the port is also very close, walking about 5 mins to the port. The owner/ manager met us and explained the layout and was very helpful and informative. He also offered a taxi service to the airport which was reasonably priced. All in all a great experience

Our first night in Croatia was in Split at Hotel Sandra. Perfectly located only 2 minute walk into town, shops, harbour and the Palace. Very comfortable for a couple stay. Marco is excellent and provides transport from the airport at a very good price. He can also take you to other destinations if required.

Our room was very clean and just perfect for our two day stay. Marko was very helpful and knowledgable when we asked him numerous questions. The location was also a plus! Walking distance to the palace and restaurants.

We only stayed for one night but we arranged a pick up from the airport which was super convenient and easy. Marko was waiting for us at arrivals. The apartment is close to the old town and ferry port so it was ideal for us to head off to Korcula the next day. Marko allowed us to leave our luggage for a few hours so that we could explore Split before catching the ferry. Would recommend!

A-maz-ing! I rarely write reviews but am inspired by the friendliness of staff, ease of check-in, the location, and the super clean and beautiful room. We arranged for transportation from the airport to the hotel which was the easiest and probably cheapest option. The owner’s son picked us up gave us lots of useful information about the area. I highly recommend Hotel House Sandra.

This place was great. Everything I could ask for. it’s a few airbnbs attached to an apartment buildings but what really made it special was the property manager marko. He is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Driving with him through there airport transportation option was the best decision I made, I learned so much about split and got great recommendations! They also held our bags on the last day so we could explore before our flight. Can’t beat this place for the price.

Really convenient location. It’s close to the ferry/bus terminals. We love that it’s tucked away and not in the super busy area. The room itself was better than we expected. Clean, comfortable bed, washroom was quite modern. Would definitely stay here again. They also offered to drop up to the airport for $35 euros which was really convenient. Thanks for having us!

A beautifully decorated room, with a huge comfy bed, large shower room & seating area. This gave us the perfect base for a one night stay in Split. A short uphill climb from the port area, but close enough to walk to all the city & waterfront restaurants

We loved our stay at family-owned House Sandra and would def stay here again on our next visit to Split! They offer airport transfer for 35 euros and the boutique hotel next door has restaurant serving great breakfast and dinners! The groundfloor room was spacious, spotless and had everything we needed, including some dishes/cutlery, a small fridge, a kettle, coffee and tea! But prob the best feature of the room was the amazingly comfortable bed...we had the perfect first night's sleep to fight jetlag after our long haul from Vancouver! The location is so close to the port...less than a 5 min walk away from restaurants and the ferries to other islands. It was super easy to roll our luggage down the street to catch a ferry to Hvar. Thank you Marko for a memorable stay! 😊

House Sandra is beautiful, large room, big comfortable bed, clean room, nice bathroom. Lovely hosts, very helpful and welcoming. Only downside, there is minimal parking.

Marko, the son, was an amazing host. The property is walking distance to literally everything. Instead of spending the rest of my week at a luxury spa, I would honestly stay at House Sandra instead just because of how close it is to everything. The apartment was small, but it had everything you need at a great price- a mini fridge, tiny kitchenette, coffee/tea, and bathroom. There is no parking, but you don’t need a car in Croatia. The transportation to/ from the airport is worth the $35 Euro. 100% recommend this place and will be staying here again.
