    Overall, I had a great stay at Royale Chulan. The room was comfortable, clean, and everything else was great. The staff were also very responsive and helpful. There were just a few minor issues during my stay. Some of the furniture drawers were missing their knobs, which made them a little difficult to use. I also noticed that there were no coffee or tea sachets provided in the room — I’m not sure if these are only available upon request, so it would be helpful if this could be clarified to guests. Another issue was that the body shower dispenser was completely empty when I arrived. I had to call housekeeping to have it refilled, but thankfully, they responded very quickly and came to assist. Despite these small issues, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated how swiftly the staff handled the problem. With a little more attention to room amenities and maintenance, the experience could be even better.

    After reading the reviews about this hotel, I decided to spend the Merdeka weekend here with my son. What a dissapointment!!! From the moment I stepped into the room everything was not organized or not in working order. I made my booking via Agoda and opted for a twin bed studio room on a higher level with city view. What I got was a room on the 2nd floor and a view of the roof tiles. The video I attached would proof my comment. Apart from that, there was a "Pesta Merdeka" function being held in the hotel and a few "Malaysia's Got Talent" wannabes were screaming their lungs out. The noise could be heard all the way to the front of my room door. After requesting for a room change, the PIC transferred me to a room on the 8th floor. Just when I thought things were getting better, the airconditioning in my room was hardly blowing out cold air even after being on for around 7 hours. The mini fridge in my room took around a day to cool 2 mineral water bottles (600ml). The traffic to get in and out of the area was slower than a crawling turtle (that was due to many road closures catering for the Marathon held on that weekend). After requesting for a technician to check on the airconditioning, I was promised that the issue would be resolved the next day (due to a clogged blower as to what the technician said). Hope I get to enjoy a good night's sleep before I check out tomorrow🤞. I have stayed in other hotels in Malaysia with lower rates than this one and in my opinion, this is the worst of the lot. As to sum it up based on one of the staff's excuse, "hotel ini dah lama/tua sir"🤷‍♂️
