    It was almost 11pm when I arrived. Check in took some time because the receptionist has difficulties communicating with the China tourist. I was told that big beds are all on Level 1 only and all the higher floors only have twin beds. Outside the window of Level 1 is a run down residential building. I felt unsafe leaving my blinds up - which defeats the purpose of getting a room with window because I specifically wanted sunlight. I asked for iron and it took more than 30 minutes to be delivered. I had to go down to the reception again to request for it, upon which they claimed they delivered it to the wrong room even though the communication to request for the iron was made via Whatsapp - which means the text record is there. How does one deliver an item to the wrong room when it's indicated in a Whatsapp message that one can easily crosscheck / forward? I was told that I only have 1 hour to use the iron, which I fulfilled and left it outside my room after I was done. I notified them that I was done with the iron. After a few hours when I left the room to purchase food & necessities, the iron was still outside the room. What's the point of rushing patrons to use the iron when you're not going to collect it anyway? Everything happened late at night when it was not busy but the delay costed me precious rest time. On check out day, the way they come to knock on every day requesting the guests check out on time was not done very tactfully. It felt demanding and rushing.

    My room is on flr 1. My toilet has an unpleasant smell and my room window faces the back alley which has lots of rubbish and looking straight at some old development/flats. Kept my window blind down all the time. I find the breakfast buffet has very limited variety; besides having only English breakfast for tea and coffee machine has 2 selection not available.

    Aircon wasn’t on when I entered . I didn’t know how to operate and thought it wasn’t working till next day told the reception and a technician managed to fix it and was cold . Breakfast was pathetic , mostly carbo food , fruits , tea, coffee , cereals , eggs only
