Room felt a bit dated, roll away beds (as hotel had been oversold upon our arrival) were miserable … Pool water was so murky, chemical smell overwhelming, peeling ceiling in pool area. Convenient location near OSUs campus but overall, couldn’t wait to leave.

Was charged to keep an eye on my car. Was not included in the total room cost.

The staff was nice, rooms clean. The breakfast was awful.

Breakfast was great! Friendly staff. Rooms were somewhat clean, towels didn’t seem very clean though. Hotel was very loud! Overall, good experience, but we may not go back.

Staff was great but the hotel is outdated, the elevator panel broke, bathroom ceiling in room 610 needs repair. Basically needs to be torn down and rebuilt.

The room was very clean, but i did notice that the shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower were possibly mixed up. It still worked out and was a very nice stay overall. The lady at the front desk Barb was very nice both times when we checked in and out. She even chatted with me for a few minutes and it felt very authentic.

Workers at this location don’t know how to make a receipt. You have to pay for parking up front. Pool was not open. Card quit working twice.

King sized bed instead of two queens. Needed a rollaway cot. Never brought it. Had to go down to remind them. Cot was horrible!!

Everything about the hotel was excellent!

We had a leak in our bathroom ceiling from the floor above. Maintenence took care of it. However, when we returned from being out, our keys no longer worked. When we tried to get the situation fixed, we were made to wait. Did not make us happy.

Staffs customer service was a zero. Didn’t even get greeted when walking in the door. I had to ask can we check in here? Offers a shuttle for buckeye game day. The shuttle takes you about half a mile and drops you off so you can walk more than a mile to the stadium and makes you pay five bucks. Poor advertisement for sure. Room was ok.

Convenient for OSU visit - we only stayed a short overnight duration. Restaurant options needed a drive.

The breakfast menu was good, eggs and potatoes were a bit dry. The location, room, and parking were all great. We would stay there again.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!! I booked a room back in September 2025 for October 2025. 4 days before my check in, the hotel calls and says that there's an issue with my card so they take my credit card info over the phone. The next day, I check prices again and notice the room is $57ish cheaper for the weekend than it was when I initially booked in September so I cancelled and made a new reservation. I arrive on the day of check in and am told Expedia was supposed to call me (even though the hotel called me Tuesday) because there was an issue with my card. Picture this... it's after 9pm, I have a car full of people, a softball tournament early the next morning and am told my room has been given away. I was told not to worry, they saved a room for me next door at their "sister property" for the same rate. I arrive next door.. there's next to no parking, I'm told I'm getting a king with a pull out couch vs the 2 queens and pull out couch I had booked AND the rate is higher. I'm told not to worry though because it's a 4 star hotel. IT WAS THE MOST HORRIBLE WEEKEND. I wouldn't recommend Staybridge or Holiday Inn. They charge you extra, lie and have the audacity to charge for parking and they have more rooms than parking spaces. Not a good area at all, pay the extra couple dollars and stay somewhere else, I wish I would have. And then when you call the following Monday, the manager will hang up on you and put you on hold forever. TERRIBLE!!!

An extra $15 a night to park was a surprise that I didn't see on Orbitz.

Pretty bad shape for this hotel. Wish I did my research before staying here, plus $20 parking fee overnight ?

I was disappointed that I was not told that I would have to pay a $15 charge to park in the parking lot after I had rented the room. I just assumed a parking space came with my hotel price. I was also a little disappointed. That there was no ice on my floor. I had to go either above me or below me a floor to get a bucket of ice. I did find a big glob of hair on the shower curtain. What’s kept me from bathing for the one night I was there I just washed in the sink with a washcloth. The staff was friendly enough. The room was clean other than the shower hair, but the breakfast was one of the worst I’ve ever had at a hotel breakfast. I would suggest you hit a McDonald’s drive-through.

Very loud air conditioner, tv barely worked, surprise parking fees and very unusual staff. Strongly recommend picking somewhere else in the area - lots of choices for a better experience.

Overall, clean hotel and good service.

Quiet atmosphere overall, all great (minus the random fire alarm at midnight). Also- something I didn't know- they have a gate that closes at 10:30? Not sure if you can leave/enter after, but I was out until 10 and just barely made it back (after getting a text alerting me to this gate closure). Sadly means I didn't have an opportunity to graba late dinner before going back to the hotel.

Poor quality, incomplete renovations. Rooms entrance has old tile in foyer and bathroom. Transition of tile chipped. Toilet very soiled at base. Towels had stains.

We discovered a bed bug.

Nice stay, good location. Beds were not the most comfortable. Need more outlets. Very basic room but it works for a quick stay.
