Average. Staff was not as kind and attentive as we have experienced at other hotels in Thailand. The hotel is a bit worn down. Few people at the hotel, which was quite nice. We had the pool to our self most days. Sunbeds could use an upgrade! Located a bit far from the “centre” of bang niang. Would have preferred to stay closer to the centre/bang niang marked as we did not use the beach at all (not a good beach - took a tuk tuk to coconut beach instead).

The room and balcony were big enough and comfortable. Would prefer just a shower instead of the older bath/shower combination.After each shower the bathroom was under water... The surrounding gardens and pools were well maintained and a pleasure to see and use. The so-called "beach" is practically not useable and very limited accessability( sand-bags and large stone boulders separateit from the water) The available Restaurant and Bar are mostly deserted.It is understandable because of the prices( sometimes double the normal going-rate) However, in general , a quiet and comfortable stay can be enjoyed at the Price/performance!!

We stayed at expensive Lux bungalow with family 11 nights over new year 2019/2020. Location god off bungalow. This stay was nightmare for us. Toilet broken everyday, we called in everyday, and got equal amount off excuses never fixed, so we had to go to other building for toilet. only the last day the offered us to change rom. Cleaning realy bad. Old ripped towels.some day never changed. somedays no refill for toiletpaper, we had to bay for our self. We recomend strongly to select other hotel.

We where there off season, hotel restaurant didn't have much because of that ,except the morning breakfast was good , you could order food to the room ,didn't try that And about 10 min walk to the nearest restaurant stayed there 2 days

We liked it a lot. Rooms spacious, bit dated but done to good standart, nice wood etc. Everything worked well, good shower. Very nice location and surroundings- 2 pools- not busy at all, very quiet, nice trees etc. Breakfast on beach restaurant- buffet bit limited, but make great omelette to order, plenty of nice fruit, nice food in the same beach restaurant for dinner too! Located across quiet road from essentially private beach with no rocks in the water- we did night swimming. 5 min walk to shopping/restaurant street. Just note that receptionist English may be bit limited. Recommended!

The best things about this hotel are the gardens and swimming pools, beautiful, the pool is one of the best I have seen. Plenty of birds around. The beach is also good for Bang Niang. All the hotels here have built up sea walls protection against sea corrosion, which is necerssary, but spoils the the vibe a little. But free sunbeds in natural shady area is a bonus. Breakfast is excellent, the restaurant has very good Thai food and great service. All staff are very friendly. Good value for money.

the hotel is nice but the air conditioning in the oldest wing is quite noisy. in the new wing the ac is quiet and the pool is really nice. both rooms where the same.

Only guests in the hotel which wasnt a bad thing really, but youd expect the resteraunt to stay open later than 7pm for room service. The paid for wi-fi was awful, dropping out all of the time and very slow, not worth the money whatsoever. Trying to order room service even during the day was a real pain, good location and great room, but a lot needs improving.

The room we stayed in was off of a balcony walkway in a large block which was very dated and in need of repainting. Dont get me wrong while we did not like this hotel the room we stayed in was cheap about £53 per night through Hotels.com. The bed was like sleeping on a concrete floor and the air con was loud and ineffective. There are thousands of mosquitos in the breakfast area. Birds were flying in and eating the bread set out for breakfast. We only stayed one night. There are hotels just to the north of Khao Lak that are far nicer than this one.

We were very disappointed to discover that this hotel double booked and we were sent to a neighboring place. I had spent hours searching the Internet looking for a little bungalow. This one seemed just the spot but it was divided into little bungalows and also a. Big resort. It doesn't ruin your holiday but you can't help wondering what your choice would've been like.
