I recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Ortensia and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The check-in and check-out process was incredibly smooth and hassle-free, making our arrival and departure seamless. The villa itself is immaculate. Everything was clean and tidy, and the attention to detail was evident throughout our stay. Our rooms were cleaned every day, ensuring a fresh and welcoming environment each time we returned. One of the most impressive aspects of Villa Ortensia is how accurately the pictures reflect the property. What you see online is exactly what you get in real life – beautiful, well-maintained, and just as described. If you’re looking for a perfect place to stay with top-notch service and pristine accommodations, Villa Ortensia is the ideal choice. I will definitely be returning and recommending it to others!

My husband and I visited Catania for 5 days. My Italian friend recommended us to stay away from central Catania so we looked for somewhere within reasonable distance from the airport (less than 30 minute drive). It's just under an hour drive to Taormina and to the meeting point at Mount Etna where we did excursion. The villa is so beautiful with a lovely garden. The area is quiet and near the sea. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Our room is so clean and tidy. Good selection of Sicilian breakfast too. They also provide private parking in a secure area which is important to us since we know vandalism is quite an issue there. We really feel safe to leave our car there. We had a very pleasant stay here. Recommend it!

Lovely environment. Easy to get to room after hours. There are some buses to get there if not wanting to take a cab that can be very expensive. This is a place to stay if one has or is renting a car. Not the easiest if on foot or taking a bus (especially during a strike)
