10am checkout is crazy. I went to the toilet, was locked out of my pod, room etc at 10.01am. Had to go into the street barely clothed, to go to the bar next door to gain access to my stuff. Took 30 minutes and two visits. Wet socks aside, 11am is pretty standard, but not giving even 10 minutes grace is unhelpful.

The capsule was uncomfortable and it got very warm during the night. We had to leave the door slightly open to improve the temperature, which meant that lots of light from the room were coming in. There was an aircondition device turned on at all times, with the window open. There is no sound proofing in the capsules (even when closed) so It was very clear to hear when other guests enter the room or their capsules through the night and some were particularly loud, rather late. There is a sink with water that became quite dirty one of the days, and it was constantly used during the night. There were three toilets in our floor but usually one of them was blocked, and sometimes the second one was not flushing. Unless you can sleep through thunderstorms, stay away from this.

I booked capsule for 2, it was clean and decent. However it is not well thought out not providing locker nearby of the capsule. All you belongings must go inside where you sleep, including coat bags etc… lockers are available downstairs in the bar (for a small fee I guess) but it is not convenient at all. Capsules are clean but noisy, you can hear every move of your neighbours :D including noises from the street. Toilets and showers quite clean, but they get dirty and busy especially in the morning, when they are being cleaned in most busy time. Nice bar and staff downstairs! Overall experience - ok, but would not stay there again.

It is clean, include shared washroom and shower... Room is small with 8 people... very noise in the middle night from the bar at ground.

Can’t beat the location. Even for a hostel this was the most minimal, kind of grimy property I have ever stayed at. We booked a private bathroom, and the shower was a trickle from a shower head above the toilet and sink. The toilet paper had to be taken out of the space, so it didn’t get soaked when showering. The overhead light was also burned out. It was a bit like camping.

Online check in didn't work. Nobody answered the phone and nobody answered through the chat. It's almost been 22 hours an still nobody has answered any messages. I didn't even check in late, as it states check in ends at midnight. I booked this because I assumed I could check in online and arrive late at night, but the hotel would rather leave you in the cold street and ignore your communications. Hotels.com customer support does not let me start a new chat to initiate a refund.

Had a private room with a bunk bed. Very dirty, no towels, and a lot of noice during the night. A real hostel experience with low standard. Check in and check out worked great though

Everything is just excellent, staff is very cooperative. Nearby to all public transport. Best place to stay.

When we entered our room, everything was filthy and completely different from the photos online. I travel abroad 10–15 times a year for business, and I have never experienced anything this awful in my life. The moment we saw the room, my colleague and I immediately left and checked into another hotel.

A guy was sleeping in my bed. Took the only empty one with clean linine.¨ Turns out he was in the wrong room.

The area where the hotel is located is good but the facilities are very basic

Staff was very nice and friendly. Many good restaurants and cafes close by Walkable to museums, tivoli, parks, shopping etc. Was very loud in the evening sometimes until 3:00/4:00 in the morning - my room was facing the street. I used a white noise app and that helped alot.

Sleeping in a capsule on 4th floor was horrible - it was about 29 degrees in the capsule even at 3 o'clock in the night.

Stayed in the private single room with bunk bed. The room was more than enough for one person. Excellent location to explore the city, especially if you're only staying a couple of days. I was on the first floor and could hear everything going on in the square and bar downstairs, very loud music until 5am most nights. Ask for a room on upper floors if you want to avoid the ruckus.

Stayed here for three days. Had a great time! Beds were clean and no real noise problems from other guests. Would stay again 👍

Do not stay here. After booking I sent a message to Hostel asking for available check-in hours because I was informed there’s no late check-in, but not informed what time is late. I never received a response from Hostel, even after following up with another message. Reception is at the back of the bar, but this is not clear. Reception is not staffed anyway; kiosks for self check-in. Hostel advertises elevator and 6 floor building. However, you must go up 5 steps before you can access the elevator and then it goes only to the 5th floor, not 6th. Elevator inspection ticket expired May 2025. Hostel claims they have a kitchen, but it consists of a few dishes (plates, no bowls, glasses, no mugs, a few utensils) and a couple refrigerators. Beware: half the dishes in clean stack are dirty. I found food stuck on “clean” plates every morning I was here. No sink in “kitchen” so if you need to wash your hands or food, you must go upstairs to the bar bathroom for closest sink. Only 2 toilets, 2 sinks, and 3 showers for over 36 people on the floor. Safety issue:!! Everyone intuitively turns the door handle to get out of the room. That does not work. You need to turn the little knob above the handle - in the opposite direction than is intuitive- to get out of the room. There should be a label informing people of this. There are signs in the bathroom that say “we’re here to help. Contact us on WhatsApp at this number“. The number is not on WhatsApp!!!

No window curtains, shower leaks on you when using the sink, can barely fit in the toilet.

The flushing in the bathroom did not work, the guided tour was not well organised and left before the assigned time and the location of the hostel was loud. However other travellers were nice and the room good.

You can’t beat the location but leaves a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness and upkeep.

Control panel on the pod didn't work properly, so couldnt really lock the pod and the fan didn't work to well so was really hot. But not too bad overall.

I had a really great stay at this downtown hostel! It’s perfect if you’re traveling solo and want to meet other travelers—there’s a very social vibe, and it’s easy to connect with people. I met so many cool guests just hanging out in the common areas. The staff are also amazing—super friendly and helpful. Big thanks to Mr. Duffy, Sammy, Melissa, and Phoebe (and the others whose names I didn’t catch)—everyone was so kind and really made the stay feel welcoming. The location is excellent, very central, and easy to get around. The place is clean and well-kept, which I really appreciated. If I had to mention anything for improvement, I’d say I missed having a shelf by the bed for small things, and the toilets could use a bit of an upgrade. But honestly, those were small things in an overall really great experience. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a fun and friendly place to stay downtown!

I stayed in the women’s bedroom this time, and it was a much better experience compared to my last visit. The room was very clean and even had a sink inside, which was super convenient. There were around three bathrooms and three toilets on the floor, and they were all much cleaner than the ones on the 6th floor. Honestly, the cleanliness in the women’s section was impressive—you could almost splash water on all the toilets (not that you’d want to, but it shows how compact and well-kept everything was). However, the toilet behind the reception still takes the prize as the best one in the whole hostel!

Checkin was a little confusing but it worked out well

Nice place, reasonable price. Very well located all amenities near by. Bar downstairs so expect the vibe to lively and a bit noisy. Construction out front, would come make some noise early in the morning and be gone before i got outside. Ha ha, likely due to weather. The place was fine, small but functional. However, not a ritzy hotel.
